Too Good To Be True
剛剛睡了一個午覺，夢到我身處在深山中一棟新的辦公大樓中辦公。我的辦公室長長的近乎橢圓形，屋頂挑高很高。我的辦公桌擺置在進門後的左側中間位置，裝潢的非常現代化。進門後的右側則是深山山野的延伸直入我的辦公室，唯一的阻隔是透明的落地玻璃窗。不管是由裡往外看，或是由外往裡看，辦公大樓與山野合而為一，景色非常好看。
作這個夢真好，也真希望它能實現。昨夜，小朋友又作了夢，夢到明天的事，又在哭了！我過去安慰他，姐姐說他會坐起來或站起來說話，他會夢游。我說這是說夢話，不是夢游。小朋友說，爸爸，你知道我們去賞車時，為什麼他說會看到金龜車，就是因為他前一天晚上作夢夢到。
我已經第二次開玩笑對小朋友說，我上週夢到我們訂了一部名貴的新車，是一部很棒的轎旅車。小朋友說，爸爸，那不是夢，那是真的！真的是Too Good To Be True，好的不敢相信。
[後記]：11/24 我翻閱「科學人(no. 33)」這一期的文章，發現曾志朗訪歐記裡，描寫的文章比我深動及活潑。好似我已去過此一國家。
這是他的文章：「上個月在德國柏林近郊的一座美麗的花園旅舍中，參加了一個討論老年人記憶的研討會議。會場坐落在森林一旁的湖光反映了反映了群鳥飛翔而去的悠遊身影，一些開始變黃變紅的葉子則隨秋節的風逸然飄下，自然如畫，那樣悠然安詳，坐在會場裡，思維也就跟著澄靜了。…」

"The Matrix Template Library (MTL) is a high-performance generic component library that provides comprehensive linear algebra functionality for a wide variety of matrix formats. "
"As with the Standard Template Library (STL), MTL uses a five-fold approach, consisting of generic functions, containers, iterators, adaptors, and function objects, all developed specifically for high performance numerical linear algebra. Within this framework, MTL provides generic algorithms corresponding to the mathematical operations that define linear algebra. Similarly, the containers, adaptors, and iterators are used to represent and to manipulate concrete linear algebra objects such as matrices and vectors."
"To many scientific computing users, however, the advantages of an elegant programming interface are secondary to issues of performance. Generic programming is a powerful tool in this regard as well - performance tuning can itself be described in a generic fashion. These performance tuning abstractions are realized in a generic low-level library - the Basic Linear Algebra Instruction Set (BLAIS). I am planning to publish some of my daughter's english article to this BLOG. She is learning the English from school, english songs, broadcasting, and 補習班. She also have a chance to visit U.S. long ago. Her teacher like she very much as a english tutor due to her good personality, and her good English. I hope she not only have good English in listening, writing, and speaking, but also good in Chinese in all aspects.

國際風箏節石門
這是去年國際風箏節的記事:
今天鼓吹內人和小朋友與我一起去石門看國際風箏節。特別是我還要帶Marty去，媽媽及小朋友可以向Marty學字正腔圓的美式英文。
在石門展覽會場，我們見識到各種大小不一之風箏，小朋友也學會製作超小型風箏。我後來手癢，在石門表演場上坡處放起風箏，結果放的風箏尾巴纏在樹梢的樹枝上，卡住了。幾乎要放棄的情形下，我在小朋友的幫助下，進入滿是荊棘的野樹林裡去取回我的風箏。幸運的，樹梢不是很高，花了約半小時的時間，取回我的"無框架"風箏。
下午繼續帶Marty去漁人碼頭逛逛，去回程的路上我們行駛在「洲美快速道路」上，讓我們節省了半小時的時間，加上我們去的早，回的早，使得開車一路順暢。下午三點半左右就回到臺北車站。
晚上五點整，我們全家人邀請Marty去衣蝶百貨公司的Skylark餐廳用餐。他是我們家的第三個外國客人。第一是Don，第二是Robert。

Hello to the world - My first try
